Waste water treatment process is made necessary

There are certain industries which expels wastewater. It has to be treated before letting it out of the factory. Waste water treatment is nothing but treating the water that is produced by the industries. The water will be treated and let out so that it can be reused or released to the sanitary sewer. The industries which use chemicals does this process. After treating the water they themselves use it for production process. In rare cases they let out the treated water. Industrial waste water treatment is made compulsory in the industries like pesticides, dyes, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, plastics etc.

Types and equipment’s used for waste water treatment

There are certain machineries which are used for treating the industrial waste water. There are some companies who offer the equipment’s on rental basis also. The industries running in high budget will not be ready to get the equipment for rent. They themselves own the machine to carry out the treatment. The equipment’s used for Industrial waste water treatment are plate and frame presses, mini dredges, 1.7 meter belt press and 2 meter belt press. The industrial wastewater treatment can be done using these above equipment’s. There are different types of treatments involved.

  • Brine treatment is normally used in steel industries. It removes the salt ions from the waste stream. This helps to reduce the volume of the discharge for more economic disposal.
  • Solids removal is like filtering the water to remove the solid particles. Sometimes they may require double filtering of the water.
  • Oil and grease removal is a process in which the oil and the grease from the water is being removed. But this is a difficult process and is done through 2 different types of machine. API separators and hydro cycloneoil separators.
  • Removal of biodegradable organics are removed using activated sludge process and trickling filter process.

Then other organics materials are also being removed from the water then sent out of the industry. So that the public can use the water without any issues. The industry itself can reuse the water for further process.
